TaET 2007 - kickoff
Finally - the country of departure is chosen, the flight is booked, the nervousness starts to settle (or increase?) and right now, I feel relatively entropic. After some lucky searches on the web, I ended up getting a ticket for Caracas, Venezuela - a country I have NO knowledge of. My travelroute will be Copenhagen - London - Frankfurt - Caracas, with a stayover in London on wednesday night (June 6th). I will be arriving in Caracas app. 1400 local time and will probably spend the first hours to find a place to stay. I am still trying to find some guides to “proper” accomodation for my first nights, but I have yet to succeed.
The TaET concept will be tested again, but this time, I must admit, that my itenary will consist of a few more items than I would like to admit. South America seems a bit more “rough” than my last TaET to Thailand, and I guess I have found out, that it can be understood as sheer madness, to undertake a continent like South America with just a roll of toiletpaper. To be honest, I really don’t know if I should try the lightweight travelbag or not. I will decide within the next few days (well … I have to - I am leaving in 2 days).
I am looking forward to the trip, knowing that I have no clue of what I am getting into (hope that no bad guys read this, and wait for me at the airport to mug me). It will be an adventure and I can’t wait to see how the adventure evolves and challenges me.
This is all for now
